CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON EMPLOYEE LOYALTY: A SECONDARY DATA ANALYSIS
Author: Tavneet K. Reen, Kirti Sharma, Yakubu Abukari

This article reviews the literature on the interplay between career development programs and employee loyalty. This study analyzes secondary data from empirical and theoretical literature published between 2000 and 2024, focusing on how various career development initiatives affect employees' retention, commitment, and loyalty to the organization. The evidence suggests that the design of career development programs facilitates the employee's loyalty to the organization because of increased job satisfaction, skill enhancement, organizational support, and career advancement. However, these programs also depend on organizational culture, leadership, individual career interests, and overall execution. This review adds to human resource management literature by presenting an integrated framework detailing career development and loyalty and evaluative insights for organizational intervention through career development initiatives to increase employee loyalty.

THE ROLE OF SOCIAL PROTECTION IN COMBATING POVERTY AND DRIVING ECONOMIC GROWTH
Author: Varinder Kaur, Nameeta Garg

Social protection plays a crucial role in reducing poverty and fostering economic growth by providing financial security and improving access to essential services. This paper explores the relationship between social protection mechanisms, poverty alleviation, and economic growth. It examines how social protection schemes—such as cash transfers, unemployment benefits, health insurance, and social pensions—contribute to improving living standards, enhancing human capital, and stimulating economic activity. The study highlights case studies from various countries to demonstrate the positive impact of well-implemented social protection programs. Furthermore, it discusses the challenges in extending social protection coverage and the policy measures required to strengthen social security frameworks for sustainable economic growth. This literature review examines the impact of social protection programs, including cash transfers, social insurance, and labor market interventions, on poverty reduction and economic development. The findings suggest that well-designed social protection programs contribute to inclusive economic growth, enhance productivity, and reduce inequality. GENDER INEQUALITY IN CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY: A SOCIAL JUSTICE FRAMEWORK FOR ANALYSIS AND INTERVENTION
Author: Sunny Bajaj, Prabhjeet Kaur

This paper examines gender inequality through a social justice lens, analyzing structural, cultural, and institutional factors that perpetuate gender-based disparities across multiple domains. Using an interdisciplinary approach that draws on feminist theory, sociology, economics, and human rights frameworks, we investigate how gender inequality manifests in economic participation, political representation, education, healthcare access, and interpersonal relations. The research synthesizes empirical evidence from global contexts to identify effective intervention strategies at policy, institutional, and community levels. Our findings indicate that comprehensive approaches addressing both formal and informal dimensions of gender inequality show the greatest promise for advancing gender justice. This paper contributes to the literature by proposing an integrated social justice framework for addressing gender inequality that emphasizes intersectionality, structural change, and transformative approaches to gender relations.

Author: Milli, Meenakshi Negi

Leadership approaches have garnered considerable attention within a competitive business landscape. It has become a prominent aspect of standardizing human resources management strategies. An organization can potentially realize its vision if there is a relevant and clearly defined process to guide leadership activities. Studies also suggest that leadership style serves as a strong guiding factor for employee job performance. The primary aim of this research is to explore the practices associated with various leadership styles (Transactional, Transformational, and Servant) that impact employee job performance. To achieve this objective, a purposive sample of 118 employees from the Information technology companies in Chandigarh was selected for primary data collection, utilizing a self-administered questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale. The analysis involved descriptive statistics, inferential techniques, correlation analysis, regression, and ANOVA, conducted with SPSS version 20.0. The findings indicate a statistically significant positive relationship between leadership styles and employee job performance, with most styles notably influencing employee output and servant leadership that might be less relevant or effective in this particular context particularly within IT sector of Chandigarh.

EXPLORING SEVEN DIMENSION MODEL OF LEADERSHIP FROM THE LENS OF PWD EMPLOYEES
Author: Supriya Poduval Pal, Neeta Sinha, Aishwarya Vishwakarma, Anmol Mathur, Niyati Shah

The differently abled continue to face discrimination in several spheres of life, including but not limited to education and employment, as well as social integration. This paper aims to deepen the discussion about the challenges when seeking employment and infuses the Seven-Dimension Leadership Model to understand how such challenges can be dealt with. The framework of this discussion includes how transformation, scope and ethics of leadership can foster organizational change. The focus is on Leaders to practice more of what is relevant and beneficial for the differently abled job seekers and employees.
The Seven-Dimension servant Leadership Model, that grounds on visionary thinking, emotional intelligence, inclusivity, adaptability, accountability, empowerment and innovation etc. helps understand how leadership can be a tool in breaking the barrier to inclusive growth especially for the PwDs. The model addresses the importance of leaders who embrace the principle of creating a barrier free workplace. The incremental benefits of applying this model in companies would be the effective integration, advancement in careers as well as, improvement of the quality of life of PwDs.
This study lists the specific issues that people with disabilities encounter, namely, inability to access education or occupational training resources, discrimination in employment opportunities, lack of accessibility to workplaces, and unsatisfactory workplace structures. Moreover, many organizations do not understand or misinterpret what People with Disabilities (PwD) can offer and, therefore, leave them out of productive work. Such systemic issues require a leadership that is both creative and results oriented in promoting equity.
The paper discusses cases of some private companies which have adopted the leadership strategies consistent with the Seven-Dimension Leadership Model. These corporations engage in policies and practices which ensure inclusivity, modifications and career development policies specific for PwD. Some companies have begun inclusive recruiting policies, while some other have developed employee resource groups and mentorships for employees with disabilities.
Due to those challenges of employability and inclusion which persons with disabilities face, this paper finds that the Seven-Dimension Leadership Model presents a good framework. It also becomes clear that leadership is capable of promoting organizations from mainly the traditional setting, to an inclusive space for all, including the differently-abled.
Finally, the research emphasizes the importance of leadership in changing the landscape of employment for people with disabilities and calls for active efforts that adhere to the seven-dimensional leadership model of practice.

LITERATURE RELATED TO GENDER DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVE HRM IN TRANSPORT COMPANIES
Author: Indrani Chandrakiran Salve, Dr. Sheena Abraham Varghese

This research paper presents a comprehensive literature review on diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the transport sector, analyzing strategic approaches, challenges, and sectoral impacts. The study synthesizes findings from 50 scholarly articles, reports, and case studies published between 2009 and 2025, focusing on gender equity, disability inclusion, and sustainable HR practices. Key themes reveal persistent barriers such as occupational segregation, unconscious bias, and inadequate policy frameworks, particularly in male-dominated roles (e.g., engineering, logistics). For instance, women constitute only 22% of transport workers in Europe (Mejia-Dorantes, 2019), while disabled employees face accessibility gaps and employment insecurity (Borghouts-van de Pas & Freese, 2017). The review highlights effective D&I interventions, including gender-neutral recruitment (Estrada et al., 2017), flexible work policies (Ahuchogu et al., 2024), and leadership commitment (Vohra et al., 2015). Notably, companies with diverse leadership teams exhibit 15–35% higher financial performance (Hunt et al., 2015). However, implementation gaps persist, as seen in vague corporate reporting on equality (Malavasi, 2025) and tokenistic diversity programs (French & Strachan, 2009). The transport sector’s unique challenges—such as long hours, safety risks, and skill shortages—demand tailored HR strategies, including green HRM (Borges, 2021) and TQM-aligned training (Pantouvakis & Karakasnaki, 2017). The paper underscores the strategic alignment of D&I with organizational goals, advocating for metrics-driven approaches (Keen et al., 2021) and systemic changes in workplace culture. It calls for future research on intersectional inclusivity, technology-enabled HR solutions, and policy reforms to address structural inequities. By bridging theory and practice, this review offers a roadmap for transport firms to harness diversity as a catalyst for innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth.

INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION AND ITS ROLE IN SHAPING INDIA'S TRADE LANDSCAPE: AN EVALUATION OF EFFECTIVENESS AND BUSINESS FACILITATION
Author: Dr. Shobhitabh Srivastava

A key tool for settling lawsuits originating from cross-border transactions, international commercial arbitration advances a disciplined and trustworthy method of conflict resolution in the worldwide economic system. India has made significant strides in assimilation into this arbitration system in recent years since it understands the need for efficient dispute settlement systems as a means of boosting its global trade. Although world trade is getting more complicated and linked, the requirement for quick and efficient means to resolve conflicts has grown more important. Often lagging behind to fit the fast nature of global economic contacts, traditional court systems can lead to protracted litigation procedures that impede commerce and investment. Conversely, arbitration stands out for its ability to offer shipping solutions, confidentiality, and expert arbitration fit for the particular requirements of commercial companies.
