In a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) world, organizations must
continuously reinvent talent strategies to ensure business sustainability and workforce
resilience. Traditional recruitment models struggle to keep pace with shifting skill demands,
economic disruptions, and evolving employee expectations. This study explores how Design
Thinking, combined with Amazon’s Flywheel Model, can create an adaptive, selfsustaining
recruitment system that thrives in uncertainty.
