ABSTRACT
Women entrepreneurs face a unique set of challenges within startup ecosystems that are often
overlooked in mainstream narratives. This paper explores the gender-specific barriers faced
by women, including access to funding, networking gaps, cultural stereotypes, and work-life
balance struggles. It investigates how these challenges affect business growth and
entrepreneurial sustainability. The paper also examines strategies women adopt to overcome
these barriers such as leveraging women-centric networks, embracing digital tools,
mentorship, and policy advocacy. By analyzing literature and real-world examples, the study
aims to highlight not only the invisible battles women fight but also their resilience and
innovative approaches to succeed in entrepreneurial ecosystems.
