BEYOND JOB SATISFACTION : A QUEST FOR BROADER PERSPECTIVES
Author: Anuradha Sarin

ABSTRACT
In their endeavour to higher employee performance, organisations have, for long, banked primarily on job satisfaction. However, despite the strong intuitive appeal, the extant literature has not being able to provide strong empirical support for a strong relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance. Owing to this, there is a need to broaden the horizon beyond job satisfaction and contemplate other variables which promise better employee performance.
Given this context, the present paper attempts to deliberate on life satisfaction and work-life balance, in addition to job satisfaction, to positively impact employee performance. The arguments have been developed with the support of extant literature, justifying that they be considered, as they not only individually impact employee performance but also have a role to play in positively influencing job satisfaction. The paper is structured by first having an appraisal of the job satisfaction-performance relationship, bringing to fore that the empirical evidence does not provide strong support in its favour. The next section provide arguments to to justify the inclusion of life satisfaction and work-life balance (in addition to job satisfaction), as factors influencing employee performance. Thus, it is desirable for organisations to broaden their perspective beyond mere job satisfaction and appraise variable like life satisfaction and work-life balance when trying to improve employee performance.

AWARENESS AND KNOWLEDGE OF RURAL WOMEN TOWARDS LIC BIMA SAKHI YOJANA: AN EMPOWERMENT PERSPECTIVE
Author: Gomathi A.

ABSTRACT
Women’s empowerment and financial inclusion are essential components of sustainable rural development. The LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana has been introduced with the objective of empowering rural women by providing opportunities to serve as insurance advisors while enhancing financial literacy and awareness. The present study examines the level of awareness and knowledge of rural women regarding the LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana. Primary data were collected from 600 rural women respondents through a structured questionnaire. Percentage analysis, multiple response analysis and Garrett ranking technique were employed for data analysis. The findings reveal that awareness of the scheme remains moderate, with a considerable proportion of respondents lacking adequate knowledge regarding its objectives and benefits. Social media and mass media emerged as the major sources of awareness. The study highlights the need for strengthened awareness campaigns, training programmes, and community-based outreach initiatives to improve participation and financial empowerment among rural women.

A CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK OF ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT THROUGH INDIAN KNOWLEDGE SYSTEMS
Author: Prafulla Chandra Dhar , Ankur Saxena

ABSTRACT
This conceptual paper develops an integrated framework explaining how Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) contribute to organizational learning and leadership development. Drawing upon the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Arthashastra, the paper produces indigenous learning mechanisms with modern organizational learning theories. Six major learning dimensions—Guru–Shishya Learning, Experiential Learning, Dharma-Based Ethical Learning, Transformational Learning, Consequence-Based Learning, and Collaborative Learning—are identified and theoretically linked with leadership capability development, ethical decision-making, organizational resilience, strategic thinking, and innovation. The paper argues that Indian epics should not merely be viewed as religious or cultural narratives but as repositories of sophisticated management knowledge capable of enriching contemporary organizational theory. A comprehensive conceptual framework is proposed to guide future empirical investigations using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), thereby bridging indigenous management thought with modern organizational learning literature.

Author: M.Thanikaivel

ABSTRACT
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most transformative technologies in modern organizations, reshaping the way businesses manage their human resources. Human Resource Management (HRM), once dominated by manual processes and administrative functions, is increasingly becoming data-driven, intelligent, and employee-centric through the adoption of AI technologies. From talent acquisition and recruitment to employee training, performance management, and engagement, AI enables organizations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making while enhancing the overall employee experience. AI-powered applications such as machine learning, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and generative AI support HR professionals in identifying suitable candidates, designing personalized learning programs, monitoring employee performance, and fostering continuous engagement. Despite these benefits, organizations must also address challenges related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, transparency, and ethical considerations. This article examines the role of AI in revolutionizing Human Resource Management by highlighting its applications, benefits, challenges, and future prospects.

A STUDY ON ENHANCING FINANCIAL CONSUMER PROTECTION THROUGH TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS AND DIGITAL SECURITY MEASURES: INSIGHTS FROM COMMERCIAL BANKS IN KOLAR DISTRICT
Author: REENA. R & SARAVANAN. D

ABSTRACT
In today's increasingly digitized banking landscape, ensuring the security and protection of financial consumers has emerged as a critical priority for commercial banks worldwide. This imperative is particularly pronounced in light of the escalating threat posed by cybercrime and data breaches. In response to these challenges, commercial banks have been proactively harnessing technological innovations and implementing robust digital security measures to safeguard the financial interests of their customers.
One of the key strategies adopted by commercial banks is the deployment of cutting-edge encryption protocols and multi-factor authentication systems to fortify their digital platforms. These measures not only secure sensitive financial data but also provide customers with enhanced control over their accounts and transactions, thereby bolstering confidence in online banking services.

Moreover, commercial banks are increasingly investing in advanced fraud detection and prevention technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. These tools enable banks to analyze vast volumes of transactional data in real-time, swiftly identifying and mitigating suspicious activities before they escalate into fraudulent incidents. By leveraging predictive analytics and behavioral biometrics, banks can proactively detect anomalies and authenticate user identities, thereby thwarting potential cyber threats.

Furthermore, recognizing the pivotal role of consumer education in fostering digital literacy and awareness, commercial banks are actively engaging in outreach initiatives to educate customers about cybersecurity best practices. Through interactive workshops, online tutorials, and informational campaigns, banks aim to empower consumers with the knowledge and skills necessary to safeguard their financial assets in an increasingly interconnected digital ecosystem.

Collaboration and partnership with cybersecurity experts and regulatory authorities also play a crucial role in strengthening banks' resilience against emerging cyber threats. By sharing intelligence, best practices, and industry insights, banks can enhance their cyber defense capabilities and stay ahead of evolving cybercrime trends.
